We are proud to introduce Thame Pharmacy – a new pharmacy serving the community of Thame and the surrounding villages. We are open seven days a week and conveniently located within the Thame Community Hospital site.

Thame Pharmacy was established to meet a clear and growing local need following the closure of the Boots
Pharmacy at Thame Health Centre, which left a significant gap in local pharmaceutical provision. The pharmacy was created to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare services for the community and is led and managed by Superintendent Pharmacist Mr. Tochi Sumra, who oversees the day-to-day operations and clinical standards of the pharmacy.
We are currently operating from a temporary premises within the hospital grounds, with plans to develop a permanent location in Thame for the long term.
Our vision is to deliver a modern community pharmacy that goes beyond traditional dispensing – offering accessible clinical services, supporting local GP practices, and improving health outcomes through preventative care, expert advice, and innovative services. We look forward to serving the community and building a pharmacy that patients can rely on and be proud of.

- Weight Management Clinic, Travel Clinic, Ear Wax Removal (Microsuction)
Pharmacy First – We offer the NHS Pharmacy First service, where our pharmacists can assess and treat seven common conditions without needing a GP appointment. These include sore throat, sinusitis, ear infections in children, infected insect bites, impetigo, shingles and uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
Prescription Turnaround Time – Please allow 3 working days from the point your repeat prescription is requested.
Registration – To have your prescriptions dispensed at Thame Pharmacy, simply call us, register online at www.thamepharmacy.com/register, or inform your GP practice.
