RMH Golf is based at Howland Road Business Park. This is indoor golf at its finest. Opened in April, RMH Golf is run by professional golfer Ross Hampshire.
A resident of Long Crendon, Ross started playing golf at 11 years of age. A member at the Oxfordshire and Studley Wood, he turned professional aged 21 and plays on the professional circuit. He’s also an experienced and innovative golf coach
Now 24, his career has already taken him all over the world. Having played on most of the courses featured as a touring pro, he knows how good the software behind his simulator is. Ross can’t quite believe how accurate and realistic playing these courses is.
“This indoor golf simulator is so real, you’ll think you’re on the course”. Says Ross. ”The technology pushes the barriers of realism and accuracy. The world’s golf courses have been drone mapped to render them in the most extraordinary detail with incredibly high-definition graphics”. He adds.
The set up at RMH Golf is quite impressive too – the 5 x 3 metre screen is powered by TrackMan technology. Coaching sessions are designed to make full use of the shot analysis tools to improve your game. You can even compare your swing to professional golfers.
The TrackMan 4 golf launch monitor gives you all the data you need, is incredibly intuitive and seriously performance-enhancing. You won’t just improve, you’ll improve faster than you thought possible.
The TrackMan 4 launch monitor tracks and displays the full trajectory of any shot, from short putts to 400-yard drives, pinpointing the landing position with superior accuracy. It also maps the shot’s 3D trajectory in real-time, together with all impact and launch information.
Ross is available for some one-to-one coaching, but RMH Golf doesn’t just cater for the enthusiast. Ross encourages everyone to come along and have a great time.
The room can fit up to eight people playing. Why not make an evening of it. There is a fridge for drinks, a screen showing Sky Sports and Ross is more than happy for players to bring their own food or get a takeaway delivered.
Come rain or shine, the RMH Golf simulator is the perfect environment to practice or hone your golf skills away from the course. This winter, Ross is planning on organising tournaments with a prize for the winners.
