Feet First’s next step
Your feet have always been in safe hands with Feet First Podiatry Clinic now, not only can you get them treated, you can also slip them into some stylish and comfortable shoes in their new first floor shoe shop. Janet Rogers talks to owner Jenney Klose.
Located in Thame High Street, Feet First Podiatry Clinic has been a centre of excellence for all foot care needs since it was established in 2004. So for owner Jenney Klose BSc (Hons) Pod MChS it was a logical step to open a new shoe shop at the clinic.Jenney and her colleagues are fully qualified podiatrists naturally, but they are also qualified shoe fitters. “We have been treating people’s feet for many years and it makes perfect sense to offer our clients a range of wider fitting shoes,” says Jenney. “It’s a perfect fit for our business and most importantly it will be a perfect fit for our clients too. Also in this range we have a very stylish collection of high street width shoes, so we will be able to accommodate all our customer‘s needs.” She adds.
Feet First have teamed up with a long established English company, DB Wider Fit shoes and are now one of their official stockists.
Set up by identical twins Jack and Bill Denton during the 1920’s (although the family have been producing fine footwear since Victorian times), the company is still a family business now run by David and Charles Denton (who coincidently are also identical twins).
