Success on a plate
Congratulations to the Radhuni Lounge & Restaurant in Princes Risborough. It has picked up a national award.
Radhuni Lounge & Restaurant has a long established reputation locally for their fine Indian and Bangladeshi dishes. Now their reputation has spread further afield. Nationally in fact.
The Restaurant was awarded two awards at the ARTA awards 2024. They are the best south central restuarant of the year 2024 and also won the overall award of Champion of Champions beating all the regional winners.
Owner Miah is rightly proud of his restaurants success. This reputation for fine Asian cuisine is a result of a lot of hard work and dedication over the years from his team, especially his talented Chefs. Loyal. The experienced chefs have maintained a consistent quality and they have already picked up regional awards along the way.
The ARTA award process itself began with the committee checking the food hygiene rating, and reading the food reviews online. Presentation of the dishes was an important factor, naturally. Culminating in the biggest test of all, a cook off held in Cambridge. This was the clincher, the ‘proof of the pudding’ you could say. Just add in the proof of the starter and main course too.
The menu at Radhuni is a mixture of classic tandoori and hot dishes as well as seafood and vegetarian specialities. The food choice is as fresh as the sustainably sourced ingredients. Miah and his chefs are always introducing new dishes for the guests to choose from.
Naturally evening dining is the most popular, but Miah has also introduced two further dining options.
Firstly is the ‘Light Lunch Menu’, available from 11.30am until 4.00pm, every day of the week. The menu is designed to offer a lighter lunch than a more traditional ‘Indian’ meal.
The Light Lunch Menu has an international inspiration. You will find dishes such as Mexican Quesadilla, Chilli Squid, Vegetable Brochette, Chicken Pakora, Golden Hook Prawns, Greek Salad as well as a Club Sandwich, Cheesy Chips and much, much more.
Secondly is the ‘Early Bird Menu’. Available from Sunday to Thursday, this is ideal for young families.
Served late afternoon/early evening from 5.00pm to 6.30pm, a sitting that is perfect for those after school hours. The normal a la carte menu is available with a great value offer. You can order one starter or main course and get the second one half price. Half portions are available for small tummies as well.
If you want to simply call in for a drink, you can relax in the Champagne and cocktail lounge. If you buy a cocktail or mocktail, you will get the second half price. Why not try a cocktail exclusively created by Radhuni’s.
Relax and enjoy a drink whilst you wait to pick up your takeaway meals. For diners, it’s a lovely area to enjoy a pre meal drink.
Radhuni boasts an extensive selection of wines from some of the world’s most renowned wine regions. From crisp whites to rich reds, the wine list has been carefully chosen to suit a range of tastes and budgets. The focus is on quality. Naturally, draught beers as well as bottled are available.
The atmosphere at Radhuni Lounge & Restaurant is always vibrant and buzzing. The ideal setting for a good time. Miah himself is usually on hand moving from table to table ensuring his diners are having a good time.
The Restaurant is now gearing up for (and taking bookings for the festive season). Last year the Restaurant opened on Christmas Day and Boxing Day for the first time. It was a huge success, so the doors are open again this year. Why not swap the Turkey for a Tandoori and the Brussels for a Balti.
New Years Eve this year will be rocking to an ABBA tribute act.
Opening times are 11.30 am – 10.00pm Sunday to Thursday and 11.30 am – 11.00pm on Friday and Saturday. Light Lunch Menu is from 11.30 – 4.00pm, every day and the early Bird Offer is every day from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. The Lounge is open every day for drinks from 11.30am – 6.30pm.
Takeaway food is available seven days a week with free delivery within a six mile radius.
Whether it’s a Light Lunch, a family meal or an evening meal for two, Radhuni Lounge & Restaurant offers a dining experience that is both memorable and very special. Award winning in fact.
